Links of interest

It is not my aim to provide an exhaustive list of any link which might be useful. There is lots of interesting information available on the web, but most of us do not have the time to go and study it all!

For translation, I most frequently rely on the following links:

* Eurodicautom
Eurodicautom is the terminology of the database of the EU and currently available to anyone. Just enter the term you are looking for, select the right languages and select "terms" instead of "hitlist" and then, if it is a word used in EU documents, one or more translations will be provided.

* Proz
Proz is a free network of translators. It offers anyone the excellent facility of consulting its members about terminology. You should, however, take into account that this may require some time; the speed depends on the moment that other translators are on-line.

* Leo
This is another excellent site; it provides an easy way for translating German words into English and the other way around. For many words additional explanation is also available, which can be accessed via appropriate links.

For British law, I mostly rely on my own books, but I have found the following interesting links on the web:

* British Law Commission
The Law Commission is in charge of promoting law reform. It produces papers about the law as it is now and, in particular, problem areas.

* Case law
Recent cases of England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland and links to other world collections.
